Obituary: Carrie Katherine Helm, 92, longtime AMH employee Mrs. Helm was a member of a respected Cundiff community family. She was the head of a large family who leaves 83 living descendants Carrie Katherine Helm, 92, a resident of Fair Oaks Nurse Home in Jamestown, KY, formerly of the Cundiff Community in Adair County, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 2:10amCT at Fair Oaks. The funeral service will be Monday, September 17, 2007, at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. with Bro. Buford Hadley the officiating clergy. She was born September 10, 1915, the daughter of the late Eugene and Helena Shearer Hadley, and the widow of Oscar Woodrow Helm, who preceded her in death on May 9, 1983. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jake Helm and Roscoe Helm and two grandchildren, Sherry Bland and Darren Helm.She is survived by the following:
Interment will be in the Shearer Cemetery at Cundiff.
