Obituary: Wanda Burnett, 83

Mrs. Burnett was the member of a respected Adair County family and a member of Jehovah's Witness of Campbellsville Congregation

Wanda Burnett, 83, Columbia, KY, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007, at her home after a long illness.

A memorial service will be Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 2:00pmET/1:00pmCT at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 1605 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. The officiating clergy will be Joe Schembari.



She was born November 13, 1923, the daughter of the late Henry and Grace Stone Woodring of Hardin County, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Burnett on October 11, 2004.Survivors include the following:
  • One daughter: Phyllis Wintuska and her husband, Paul, Columbia, KY

  • One son: Russell Burnett and wife Goldie, Lebanon, TN

  • Three grandchildren: Autumn Gray, Aaron Burnett, and Pansy Wintuska

  • Two great grandchildren: Shelby Gray and Grace Burnett
Mrs. Burnett was a member of the Jehovah's Witness of the Campbellsville Congregation.The family has chosen cremation.There will be no visitation.

Stotts-Phelps-McQuery Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
