ACHS Boys Golf team wins second tournament Matt Poff shoots 76 to lead ACHS individual scoring By Robbie Shelton ACHS Boys' Golf Coach The Adair County High School Boys Golf Team won their second Tournament on Saturday, the First Warren East Tournament held at Shady Hollow Golf Course in Cub Run, KY, Saturday, August 18, 2007, KY. ACHS shot a team total 314. In individual scoring, Matt Poff 76 led the Adair County golfers. Next was Chaz Gile 78, then Charles Breeding 80, Cobert Robertson 80, followed by Jordan Shelton 80. In addition to being a great win, the team got to play an exciting course designed by PGA star Kenny Perry (PGA #66 in money) of Elizabethtown, KY. On August 8, 2007, the ACHS golfers won the Metcalfe County High School Invitational tournament at Kentucky Hills Golf Club near Edmonton, KY. This story was posted on 2007-08-20 14:21:23
