ACHS Girls Golf defeats Campbellsville Team has tougher time at Ft. Knox; will return to home course on Tuesday in Tri-Match with Washington and Marion Counties By Kimberly Goodin to ColumbiaMagazine.com Last week we had to re-schedulea match with Green Co.because of the extreme heat conditions.The match with Green County on Thursday has been re-scheduled for September 7th at Pinewood Country Club. Adair defeats Campbellsville We were able to play Campbellsville on Tuesday. Campbellsville only had two golfers this year. Adair did defeat Campbellsville. Ashley Goodin shota 45 defeating Morgan Murrellwho shot a 57. Natalie Curry shot a 54 defeatingDanielle Morris who shot a 59. Other scores for Adair were Natalie Sneed 45, Lauren Goodin 48, Abby Royse 62, and Emilee Royse 63. Team has tough time with longer yardage at Ft. Knox This past weekend the Lady Bruin Invitational at Ft. Knox proved to be a tough test for the team. Course changes from last year and an extended yardage to play almost 5900 yards was tough. They lengthened the course to match the yardage of the State Tournament. We haven't played and probably won't play a course that long the rest of the regular season. The team finished 17th out of 20 teams participating. Individuals scores for Adair County was Lauren Goodin with a 83, Natalie Sneed100, Ashley Goodin shot 105, and Natalie Curry a 127.
