On August 8, 2007, the In His Service Mission team picked up trash around the square and alleys in downtown Columbia.

In His Service is a youth group from the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene consisting of youth ages 12-18, and chaperones of all ages.

As an extension of their church, this group desires to become a part of the community through the means of service to the community and it's citizens.

"It's important to me that our kids and young adults realize the importance of service to others, as Jesus led by serving,"Youth Pastor, Tim Parson said.

"Through this outreach, we hope to better the community around us, and introduce others to Christ."

The Columbia First Church of the Nazarene youth group, otherwise known as R.O.C. (Relying on Christ) will open it's doors on August 22, 2007 at 5:00pm, to lead a seminar on installing car stereo equipment.

All youth, ages 12-18 are invited to attend.

An in-dash, DVD player, with a motorized 7 inch touch screen will be given away in a drawing for all who attend.
