Obituary: Arnold McCann, 82, a retired carpenter, outsdoorsman Arnold McCann, was a recent resident of Adair County. He will be buried in at Mayslick, KY, inMason County. He had been a carpenter during more active days and was an avid gardener, and a hunter who enjoyed trapshooting. Arnold W. McCann, 82, of Columbia, KY, formerly of Maysville, KY died Thursday, August 9, 2007. Services will be conducted at 2 pm, Sunday, August 12, 2007, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 5043 Main St,. in Mayslick, KY, with Rev. Philip Turner officiating. Visitation will be immediately preceding the services. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery, Washington, KY. He was born in Lewis County, KY on November 5, 1924, to the late Fred and Bessie McCann. He was a retired carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, gardening and trapshooting. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Jane Moran McCann, as well as, by his brothers, Fred McCann, Jr., of Moscow, Ohio, and Halbert McCann, of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Mr. McCann is survived by a son, Kelly (Denesa) McCann, of Columbia, two daughters, Sandra McCann, of Columbia, and Beverly (Ben) Turner, of Maysville, and grandsons, Austen McCann, and Phillip Ulrich.
