Obituary: Preston Sullivan, 80, WWII veteran Mr. Sullivan was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church and a Mason. He will be accorded military rites and Masonic rites in services on Thursday Preston Ray Sullivan, 80, 3869 Weed Keltner Road, Gradyville, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at 10:30am CT, at his home, after a long illness. Visitation will be after 2:00pm, Thursday, August 2, 2007, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Military rites will be held at the graveside by VFW Post 6097, Columbia, KY. Masonic rites will be held Thursday, August 2, 2007, at 6:00pm at the funeral home by Columbia Lodge #96.He was born July 24, 1927, the son of the late Archie Richard and Dora Alice Ervin Sullivan of Adair County, KY.He is survived by the following:
Mr. Sullivan was a member of the South Jefferson Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. He was a US Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Shively Masonic Lodge #951, in Louisville, KY.The funeral service will be Friday, August 3, 2007, at 1:00pm, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. Interment will be in the Robinson Cemetery-Weed Keltner Road, Gradyville, KY. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
