Feedback: Mayor Bell plan for downtown starts movement

Ann Curtis has dibs on penthouse suite over Lerman's

Dear Ed & Linda:

Are you planning on buying a condo in downtown Columbia? I want mine to be the penthouse suite at the Russell/Lerman Building. Seriously. You know that I've longed for this since myBrownie Scout days.

You may rememberwhen we were growing up that Mrs. Frazier lived upstairsover the CornerDrug Store. I can still picture her descending the stairs every afternoon, nicely dressed in a hat and gloves, andwith herface freshly rouged,to do her shopping on the Square.

And now we've come full circle.

I love this idea!

Best regards,

AnnHeskamp Curtis
Note: A lot of good things have been happening with Mayor Pat Bell. It looks like the best is yet to come. And yes, we'll want a condo, too. Dibs on the third floor, Jeffries Building. - ED
