Obituary: Thomas Edward Hutchinson, 65

Thomas Edward Hutchinson, 65, of 2130 Old Glens Fork RD, Columbia, KY, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 11:00am CT, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Donald Ray Davis officiating.



He was born in Stanford, Lincoln County, KY, a son of the late C.E. and Sarah Semones Hutchinson and was retired from Louisville Ladder. The Hutchinsons moved to Adair County in 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Burton Hutchinson, Columbia, KY, and the following:
    One son, Thomas Hutchinson, Jr., Chicago, IL
  • Two daughters: Vikki Hutchinson Russell, Lexington, KY; and Krissy Maler, Birmingham, AL

  • One step-daughter (who was like a daughter): Pamela Denzik, Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Bill Hutchinson, Somerset, KY

  • One sister: Betty Bottles, Franklin, OH

  • Four grandchildren: Jasmine Denzik, Millie and Ella Maler, and Grant Hutchinson
Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery.

Vistitation will be after 5pm CT, Monday, May 7, 2007, at Grissom Funeral Home.

Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Edward Hutchinson was a former University of Kentucky and Cleveland Browns football star who played on the 1965 World Champion NFL team.

Hutchinson, a native of Stanford, KY, was a resident of Glensfork, KY, at the time of his death on May 5, 2007.

He was buried in the Columbia Cemetery on May 8, 2007.
