Cassandra Elizabeth Zapf, 7, ACES second grade student

Cassandra Elizabeth Zapf, 7, Tutt ST, Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at 4:30pm at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Her passing came she lost a battle with an illness which had lasted approximately one year.Cassie was in the second grade at Adair County Elementary School. She enjoyed going to church.

The funeral service will be Saturday, May 5, 2007, at 1:00pm CT, at St. Andrew Methodist Church in Campbellsville, with Rev. Terry Vickous officiating.



She is survived by her parents Jamie and Carrie Hawkins Zapf, Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Her twin sister: Gabriella Madelyn Zapf

  • Her brother: Tristan Zapf

  • Her maternal grandparents: Sheldon and Janie Hawkins, Hardyville, KY

  • Her maternal grandparents: Lee and Mossie Henson, Manchester, KY; and Betty Mamau of Indianapolis, IN

  • An uncle: Terry Zapf, Cincinnati, OH

  • An aunt: Rebecca Hawkins, Glasgow, KY
Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery.

Visitation is after 11am CT, Saturday, May 5, at St. Andrew's Church, Campbellsville, KY.Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
