Obituary: Jimmy Lee Burton, 62, member Purdy Separate Baptist Mr. Burton was a member of a large family and was a former employee of Hart Co. Creamery. He was the son of the late Lether & Ruthie Mae Bryant Burton. His wife, Judy Kell Burton, survives. Jimmy Lee Burton, 62, 261 J. Burton Road, Columbia, Ky. passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 9:35 A. M. at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY, after an illness. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 1:00pm CT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jamie Bryant the officiating clergy. He was born June 6, 1944, the son of the late Lether and Ruthie Mae Bryant Burton of Adair County. Survived by his wife, Judy Kell Burton, Columbia, KY, and the following:
Mr. Burton was a member of the Purdy Separate Baptist Church and he was a former employee of the Hart County Creamery in Columbia. Interment will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery, Liberty Road, Columbia, KY.
