Obituary: Donnie Glen Tucker, 50

Donnie Glen Tucker, 50, Lexington, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.

The funeral service wil be Saturday, March 24, 2007, at 11:00am CT, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Darrell Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Dunbar Hill Cemetery at Knifley.

He was born December 13, 1958, the son of Donnie Tucker, Sr. , Lexington, KY, and the late Mary Tucker. Besides his father, he is survived by the following:
  • Three children: Candiss Tucker, DoJo (Mikal) Tucker, and J.T. Tucker, all of Cynthiana, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Olivia and Alyssa Tucker

  • Two sisters: Sue Dunaway, Nicholasville, KY; and Mae Lynn Holdaway, Lexington, KY

  • One brother: John L. Tucker, Lexington, KY

  • His former wife: Vicki Tucker, Cynthiana, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews
Mr. Tucker was a self-employed owner operator truck driver.

Visitation will be after 9:00am CT, on Friday, March 23, 2007, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Contributions may be made to the Donnie Glen Tucker Memorial Fund, c/o Sue Dunaway, 1215 Sugar Creek Pike, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
