LETTER: Great Blue Heron photo enjoyed by readers

The lead photo today of the Great Blue Heron drew comments from two readers who say "keep it up".

From Deborah H, Columbia:"Keep the wildlife pictures coming! Such upclose breathtaking creatures. Also, I really enjoyed the frosty morning picture of the horses. These are moments in one's life that need to be shared with others.

"Thanks to everyone who sends in these 'Kodak moments.' It is nice to know that others are willing to share their pleasure of photography with the rest of us. Even though I was not there, I can still experience the peace and serenity of viewing that particular moment in time through your website."

Keep the photos coming!
Happy New Year,
Deborah

Susan R. from Adair County writes:
"Interesting that you have a beautiful picture of a Blue Heron on the website today. I see one along 704 as I go to and from work. It hangs out in the branch running alongside the road generally in the area of Burton Stone.

"I wondered if it was a Blue or a Grey Heron, now I know it surely is a Blue. I enjoy seeing it, it's such a lovely bird."I check your website everyday and enjoy it very much.

Thank you for a job well done."
Susan
