Halloween 2006 Events, other news wanted Halloween is celebrated in earnest in Adair County and we want to help Already, a number of Halloween 2006 events have been posted on the CM Events Calendar. Some are school sponsored, some are country store events, and some a sponsored by individuals. If your group's Halloween 2006 Event is not yet listed here, send it now. We've had an emergency call for Frances Salyers, who ordinarily knows everything going on around her store in Gradyville, about the Slate Roc Haunted Holler event on the Granville Sexton Road, just beyond the Adair/Metcalfe County frontier. If anyone knows when the event will be this year, if it is repeated, please tell us or report in to D&F Grocery in Gradyvile and let us know the particulars. We also ask that contributors to anniversaries, birthdays, the directory of churches, and other events send upcoming news in these categories. As well, we'd ask that you check to see that material stays posted. Occasionally there are unintentional deletions or changes, and we depend on contributors to keep the record straight. A scheduled update of the Adair County Veterans List is scheduled for the days leading up to Veterans Day 2006. Veterans Day is November 11, 2006, but will be observed officially on November 10, 2006. To contribute, Click on "Contact/Submit" in the site menu. This story was posted on 2006-10-16 08:16:45
