Obituary: Linda Sue Coomer, 58

She was a foreman for 14 years at Neilson-Bainbridge in Bridgeview, IL

Linda Sue Coomer, 58, Columbia, KY, died Saturday, October 14, 2006, at 11:26pm CT, at the University of Louisville Hospital.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at 11:00am, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY.



She was a daughter of the late Russell and Ruby Helm and was a foreman at Nielsen-Bainbridge in Bridgeview, IL, for 14 years.

She was the widow of James William Coomer.

Survivors include the following:
  • One son and daughter-in-law: Tony and Michele Coomer, Glens Fork, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Bobbi Leanne and James David Coomer

  • Two brothers: James Helm, and Marty and his wife Anna Helm, all of Cundiff, KY

  • One sister; Pamela Kay York, Columbia, KY

  • Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Billy and Betty Coomer, Bobby Coomer, Sarah and Claudis Smith, Dorothy Beck, and Nina Thompson

  • And several nieces, nephews, and friends
Burial will be in Helm Cemetery in Cundiff.

Visitation will be after 2:00pm, CT, at Grissom Funeral Home.

Grissom Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
