Another Spotlight Event: Ghost Stories, 5:30pm, Spout Springs In addition to all that's going on in the Folklore of the Old West festival, there are special events all over Adair County. Ghost Story telling starts at 5:30 at Knifley The Janice Holt Giles and Henry Giles Foundation will be hosting "Ghost Stories," featuring Dr. Lynwood Montell, Kentucky author of "Ghosts Along the Cumberland," and author of many more folklore books. The event starts at 5:30pm CT, with with hot dogs and marshmellows cooked around the grill. A fee will be charged for food. Then ghost stories will be told by Dr. Montell. Bring a flashlight so you can keep the ghosts away! The event will be at the Giles house, located in Knifley, KY, on Spout Springs RD. Contact 270-384-5906 or 270-465-6104 for more information.
