Obituary: Carolyn Duncan, 50, dies in Lexington

Carolyn Duncan, 50, formerly of Columbia, died Friday, August 18, 2006, at 6:00pm ET, at the Friendship Healthcare in Lexington, KY.

The funeral service will be Thursday, August 24, 2006, at 1:00pm CT, at Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Joseph Payne the officiating clergy. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.


She was preceded in death by her father, Russell McCloud, and her mother, Dorothy Duncan.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three Brothers: John Duncan and Michael Hunter, Louisville, KY; and Edward Jr. Hunter of Michigan

  • Two sisters: Mary Bates-Bey and Georgia Hunter, both of Louisville, KY

  • One uncle: Robert Duncan and wife Josephine, Elizabethtown, KY

  • Two aunts: Susie Wright, Cincinnati, OH; and Claudette Haskins, Horse Cave, KY

  • And several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be after 12 noon CT.

Grissom Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
