Obituary: April L. Burton Thurman, 25

April L. Burton Thurman, 25, 1169 Millerfield Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Monday, August 7, 2006, at 2:07pm, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, after an illness.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 10:00am CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. David Coffey the officiating clergy.


She is survived by her mother Wilda L. Burton Snider and step-father Frank Snyder of Columbia

She was the daughter of the late Kevin Randall Burton, and she was the adopted daughter of Donnie Whited of Livingston, TN who survives her.

April is also survived by the following:
  • Her husband: Roger Thurman, Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Travis Bradley Richardson, Columbia, KY

  • Paternal grandparents: Joseph and Rachel Holmes Burton, Columbia, KY

  • Maternal Grandparents: Earl and Linnie Daniel Gadberry, Russell Springs, KY

  • Step brother and sister: Jason Whited and Jennifer Whited, Livingston, TN

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers a donation to help pay funeral expenses, which can be made be made at the funeral home.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Visitation is after 5:30pm CT, Tuesday, August 8, 2006.
