Obituary: Jeff Tweedy, 47, Glensfork, KY

He attended Union Chapel Church and was an oil well driller

Jeff Tweedy, 47, 181 Union Chapel Lane, Glensfork, Ky. passed away Monday, July 31, 2006 at his home.

The funeral service will be Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 11:00am CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ronnie Janes and Bro. Ralph Hadley the officiating clergy.


He was the son of the late Preston Tweedy and Dorothy Bardin Loy of Columbia, KY, who survives.

Besides his mother, he is survived by the following:
  • One son: Josh Tweedy, Columbia, KY.

  • One daughter: Savannah Tweedy both of Columbia, KY

  • His grandmother: Estelle Page Bardin, Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Larry Tweedy, Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Janeatte Kelsay, Fairplay, KY, and Diane Bearden of Columbia, KY

  • Step-father: Harold Loy, Columbia, KY

  • Step-mother: Dottie Law of Campbellsville, KY

  • His fiancee: Linda Bardin of Glasgow, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
Jeff attended the Union Chapel Church and was an oil well driller.

Interment in the Bardin Cemetery at Chance.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.

Visiation after 3:30pm CT, Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at the funeral home
