Obituary: Charles Thomas, 74, member Columbia Christian A Boyle County native, Mr. Thomas was a line foreman for KU, a local photographer for many years, and a veteran Charles Thomas, age 74 years, of 415 Adair Avenue, Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 9:55 P.M. at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, Ky after several weeks illness. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Haven Hill Cemetery with Bro. Raymond Martin the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. The family request visitation from 10:00 A.M. until 12:45 PM. on Friday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Columbia Christian Church, he was a line foreman for Kentucky Utilities for 39 years, he was a local photographer for many years and was a US Army veteran and a member of Columbia Lodge # 96. He was the son of the late: Charles and Myree Thurston Thomas Sr. of BoyleCounty, Kentucky.Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Mildred Combest Thomas, Columbia, KY, and the following:
