Neatsville: E.H. Lepiarczyk writes on Neat family Thinks book should be published on Neat genealogy By E.H. Lepiarczyk sir_erwin@yahoo.com I am a proud descendant of Rudolph Neat who established Neatsville along Green River in Adair County. Mrs. Grant's ColumbiaMagazine article is well appreciated. I am acquainted with many Neat family relatives. My lineage includes: I. Rudolph Neat. II. Rudolph Neat. III. John Neet. IV. Mary Neat Jones. V. Elizabeth Jane Bowyer Harmon. VI. Priscilla Elizabeth Harmon Burton. VII. Effie Burton Grider. VIII. Katherine Louise Grider Lepiarczyk. IX. Erwin Heinrich Lepiarczyk II. Grandmother was particularly proud of Neat heritage My grandmother was particularly proud of our Neat ancestral family heritage. It will be a pleasure to communicate with anyone who is interested in the genealogy of the Neat family. I have encouraged my 'cousin', Dallas Neat, to publish a genealogical book about our Neat family. Dallas is very knowledgeable and has accumulated an impressive amount of information about members of our Neat ancestral family. Neat is the preferred Adair County spelling of my Neat ancestral family name. In Carroll County, Missouri, Neet was the preferred spelling. I am curious to learn the popular Germanic spelling of my Neat ancestral family name. This story was posted on 2006-06-09 16:17:25
