Head-on collision on KY 70 results in injury to one driver An accident on KY 70 three miles miles west of Liberty on KY 70 resulted in the one driver being treated at the hospital in Liberty, KY. The accident occurred at Sunday, May 14, 2006, at 6:16 p.m. Dorothy L. Evans, 39, was traveling west on KY 70 in a 1998 Buick. Dawn Moore, 21, Georgetown, KY, was traveling east in a 1996 Chevrolet. Doroothy Evans lost control of the vehicle she was operating and struck the Moore vehicle head-on, following which the Moore vehicle ran off the road, overturned several times, and ejected the driver. Dawn Moore was treated at Casey County Hospital. Her seat belt was not in use. A passenger, Canna Denson, 2, Georgetown, KY, was in a child restraint and was not injured. None of the three occupants in the Evans vehicle, which also included Heather Evans, 14, Dunnville, KY, and Krystal Evans, 4, Dunnville, KY, were injured. All three had seat belts in use. The accident was investigated by Trooper Greg Brown of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident.
