Linda Marlene Pierce, 58, Russell County, KY Linda Marlene Pierce, of Russell Springs, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026. She was 58 years of age. Born January 26, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Onis and Modyne Polston Popplewell. Linda was currently employed at Tarter Gate at the time of her passing. She was an avid gardener, wonderful cook, and enjoyed watching movies in her spare time. However, Linda's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Ronald Pierce; two sons, Jordan (and Chelsey) Pierce and Aaron (and Sarah) Pierce, both Russell Springs; one brother, Gerald Jeffrey Popplewell, of Russell Springs; one sister, Melanie (and Jerry) Huff, of Russell Springs, five grandchildren, Avery Pierce, Charlee Pierce, Garon Jones, William Pierce, and Lincoln Pierce; and her beloved cocker spaniel, Lucy. Services are 1pmCT Friday, October 2, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Troy Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in Square Oak Cemetery.
