Adair Co. Retired Teacher Meeting is Sept 8 By Mary Ann McQuaide The Adair County Retired Teacher Association will meet at 10amCT on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Adair County Chamber of Commerce Building, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY. If you are a new retiree this spring/summer, please join us for retirement recognition. We will recognize our Lindsey Wilson University Scholarship recipient as well as inform members of legislative updates and health insurance information. We will collect donations for our Downtown Days basket items-Fall or Winter themes. This helps to fund our scholarship for a local student majoring in education at LWU. Dues for the up-coming year may be paid and we will be collecting donations for school supplies as well as the food pantry. All retired teachers are encouraged to attend.
