City of Columbia plans Day of Caring From Trey Stephens City of Columbia | Assistant to the Mayor The City of Columbia is again looking at a "Day Of Caring," for Columbia and Adair County. The last Day of Caring involved several organizations, churches, and individuals giving back to our community by trimming shrubbery, picking up fallen tree limbs, increasing the accessibility of facilities, and more, for elderly, disabled, and/or children in Columbia and Adair County. Work will be dependent on the number of volunteers we receive. Several church groups have already expressed an interest in working that day, but we would love to have many more organizations involved. If you or your organization would like to volunteer, or you know of someone that is in need of assistance, please let the Mayor's Office know by calling 270-384-2501.
