Green River Band wins 2026 Best of Kentucky award

Kentucky Living has announced the Best of Kentucky winners for 2026, including Columbia's own Green River Band as best Kentucky Musician or Band!

The Green River Band says:

To Adair County and ALL of GreenRiverNation, WHAT CAN WE SAY other than THANK YOU ALL! What an experience these past 6 months have been. From being nominated by our fans, to being placed in the top 3 vs JD Shelbourne and Tyler Childers, to being announced as WINNERS of the 2026 BEST BAND/MUSICIAN in Kentucky!!!

We'd like to take a minute to thank our friends and family who have tirelessly supported us for the past 3 years. They put up with a lot to let us go and do what we love. Thank you to KentuckyLiving.com for giving a small-town band a platform to compete with the big boys and then LISTENING to the people. This contest gave a spotlight to local businesses, individuals, and groups, giving an opportunity to showcase what they do to the rest of the State of KY. For the GRB, this is such a massive, humbling experience for us and we can't thank you all enough! -Muchluv from the GRB!

Campbellsville notched a number of First Place winners, including Larry J.
