Aglow Lighthouse enjoys Back to School Bash

By Rhea Allinson

I'm thankful my group, Aglow Lighthouse Columbia, got to participate in the City of Columbia's Back to School Bash on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the City Park on Fairground Street. We had all kinds of desserts we were able to give to kids of all ages.

Michelle Young made some brownies and put candy eyes in them. One of my friends, Tanesha Wilham came by and grabbed one of the brownies that had an eye on it. She told her son Wyatt (the one getting his face painted), "Here you want a brownie?

He says, "No that's got somebody's eye on it!"

The Columbia Lighthouse Aglow International functions as a local gathering place for ministry and for women and men to fellowship, worship, and grow in deeper intimacy with God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Aglow meets at different locations, depending on the event. Find more on facebook or by emailing aglowcolumbialighthouse@gmail.com.
