Melody Rose Lemen Fales, 67, Greensburg, KY

Melody Rose Lemen Fales of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Morris Lemen, Sr. and the late Virginia Allard, was born on April 10, 1958 in Sitka, Alaska. She departed this life on Thursday, November 27, 2025, having attained the age of 67 years, seven months and 17 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.


Melody enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking, baking and spending time with her church family. She loved her two pups, Koda and Little Bear.

She is survived by her husband, Doug Fales of Greensburg, having united in marriage on December 12, 1998.

Other survivors include two sons: Shawn Burns of Seattle, Washington, and Leslie Lyle of New Castle, Wyoming; one step-son: Robert Cassill (Angela) of LaCross, Wisconsin; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her twin brother: Morris Lemen, Jr. (Roseanna);

siblings: Curtis Lemen (Colleen), Babette Lemen, and Colleen Abad (Reuben); plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the emergency room staff and to their church family at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church for the many prayers and love shown during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
