Driver taken to hospital following accident on KY 61 South Operator loses control, crosses opposing lane, and crashes into tree Adair County Deputy Sheriff Tommy D. Corbin investigated a one-vehicle injury accident one mile south of Columbia, KY on KY 61, at around 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2006. The driver of a 1993 Chevy Blazer, Joshua M. Franklin, 100 KY 768 East, was transported to Westlake hospital by the Adair EMS. Franklin was traveling south when he lost control and crossed the northbound lane, left the road, and struck a tree.
