Margaret Benningfield, 74, Taylor County, KY

Margaret Benningfield of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Rafferty and Allene Howell Rafferty, was born January 11, 1951 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died Friday, November 21, 2025 in Campbellsville at age 74.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Methodist Church.


Margaret was a former employee of Walmart in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Billie Benningfield June 22, 1973.

Margaret was a loving mom and memaw. She enjoyed watching the Food Network, UK basketball and butterflies.

Besides her husband, Billie Benningfield of Campbellsville, Margaret is survived by

one son and two daughters: Melissa Patterson and husband, Jason of Greensburg, Crystal Benningfield and Nathan Benningfield of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Logan Patterson and Karleen Patterson; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Margaret was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lora Gail Benningfield.

At the request of the family, all services will be private. Parrot and Ramsey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
