Glenfield Smith, 83, Taylor County, KY

Glenfield Smith of Campbellsville, son of the late Charles Nolman Smith and Eula Pike Smith, was born November 8, 1942 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in Campbellsville at age 83.

He professed faith in Christ and attended the Church of God.


Glenfield was a retired security office at Taylor Regional Hospital and Ingersoll- Rand Company.

He united in marriage to Faye Hunt July 4, 1970 and she preceded him in death on November 7, 2007.

Glenfield is survived by one son and one daughter: Matthew Smith of Lexington and Lewanda Smith Nunn of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: James William Nunn, Jr. and Katherine Rose Nunn; one sister, Fannie Mae Jacobs and husband, Homer; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Glenfield was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters: James Smith, Norman Smith, Wilmer Smith, Calvin Smith, Gordon Smith, Clarence Smith, Dimple Breeden, Ethel Phelps, Orma Smith and Mary Jane Cowan.
