John F. Irvin, 90, Russell County, KY John F. Irvin, age 90, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, November 10 2025 at Russell Co Hospital. He was born on Wednesday, December 05 1934, in Russell County, Kentucky, the son of Ettie Robertson Irvin and Estel Irvin, who preceded him in death. Survivors include: 4 Daughters: Vickie Redmon, spouse Roger, of Russell Springs KY; Belinda Rice, spouse Billy, of Columbia KY; Lisa Hadley, spouse Steve, of Russell Springs KY; Donna Willis, spouse Tracy, of Columbia KY 1 Son: John Franklin "Frankie" Irvin, spouse Amy, of Russell Springs KY. He is survived by 15 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a carpenter and member of Coffey Friendship Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Ovalene Bernard, Mary Lou Robertson and Amanda Jane Irvin and three brothers, Avery, Alvis and Arnet Irvin. He was an avid golfer, He was a four time state champion pitching horse shoes, and was inducted into the Kentucky State Horseshoe Pitching Hall of Fame in August of 2024. Pallbearers are: Roger Redmon, Tracy Willis, Steve Hadley, Jason Redmon, Jonathan Irvin and Jacob Irvin. Honorary Pallbearer, Special friends, R.C. Ryan and Danny Hughes. Military Honors performed by Russell County Honor Guard, of which he was a Charter Member. Funeral services will be 1pmCT Saturday, November 15 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be 11amCT Saturday, November 15 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
