Sherman William Arms, 84, Burkesville, KY Sherman William Arms of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Cumberland Valley Mannor in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 14 days. He was born on Monday, May 26, 1941, in Cumberland County, Kentucky, the son of William Martin & Grace S. (White) Arms. He was of the Church of Christ Faith, a member of the Marrowbone Church of Christ and worked as a self-employed farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Sue Arms, and brothers, Rondal Jerry Arms, and Roger Arms. He is survived by his son, Michael (& Pam) Arms; step-children, Terry (& Lisa) Vibbert, Pam (& Larry) Flowers, all of Burkesville, Kentucky, Jennifer Dishman of Albany, Kentucky; brothers, David (& Vellas) Arms, Phillip (& Brenda) Arms; sister-in-law, Connie Arms; grandchildren, Heather (& Joe) Bow, Cody Adams, Clint (& Brandi) Adams; great-grandchildren, Hannah (& Charlie), Jason, Addison, Clay "Little Clint", Carter, great-great-grandson, Memphis; special friend, Margaret Vibbert; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 1pmCT in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, beginning at 4pm. until the funeral hour on Thursday afternoon.
