Tammy Allen Hurt, 68, Burkesville, KY

Tammy Allen Hurt, age 68 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Cumberland County Hospital. Tammy was born on September 29, 1957 in Clinton County, Kentucky to the late Beldon Marshall Allen and Barbara Gayle Murphy Allen.

She was a member of Liberty Methodist Church and was a retired employee of the City of Burkesville where she had served in multiple roles during the years as dispatcher, parking attendant, and later as city clerk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Donna Allen and one brother-in-law Mark Collins.


Survivors Include:

Her Husband- Kenny Hurt of Burkesville, KY

Two Daughters - Christy Hunt and her husband Kevin and Alisha Wheat and her husband Stephen all of Burkesville, KY

One Brother - Shane Allen and his wife Amanda of Danville, KY

One Sister - Kelly Collins of Celina, TN

Special Nephew - Jacob Wright and his wife Crystal of Richmond, KY

Three Grandchildren - Carly Hunt, Kylie Wheat, and Brayden Wheat along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Monday, November 10, 2025 at 11amCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial in Burkesville Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Sunday, November 9th from 5 until 9 and on Monday from 6 until service time.
