William F. Corbin, 72, Columbia, KY (1953-2025)

William Frank Corbin of Columbia died on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at TJ Health Columbia. He was 72 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Billy Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow in McClister Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Sunday.


He was born September 11, 1953, in Adair County, to the late Ollie Ray and Helen Lorene Branham Corbin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Wheeler.

William was a member of Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church, worked for many years at Columbia General Appliance and retired from the Adair County School System

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Dottie Wheeler Corbin of Columbia
  • One son - Stephen Frank Corbin of Columbia
  • One special daughter - Lisa Bailey of Columbia
  • One brother - Jimmie Ray Corbin of Glasgow
  • Four sisters - Nancy Stevens of Somerset, Wanda Janes of Breeding, Brenda Duncan of Edmonton, Susan Richards of Russell Springs
  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends
Casket Bearers - Bryan Wheeler, Kenneth Wheeler, Adam Howard, Chris Burriss, Jonathan Wheeler, Todd Corbin

Honorary - Haskin and Martha Wheeler, Sharon Pierce, Kenneth Janes, Joe Richards, Daniel Stephens, Johnny and Shirley Jones
