Bobbi Neathery, Cumberland County, KY

Barbara "Bobbi" Neathery of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 1 day. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on Wednesday, March 24, 1943, the daughter of Kent & Lucille (Collins) Baise. She was of the Christian faith, a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ, and worked as a campground store manager at Dale Hollow State Park for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by her husband, Samuel Fulton "Sam" Neathery, whom she wed on Saturday, October 15, 1960, sisters, Kaye Hardin, Anita Wimpee and grandson, Michael Joseph Neathery.

She is survived by her children, Samuel Douglas (& Teresa) Neathery of Hilham, Tennessee, Michael Lee Neathery of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Roger (& Barb) Baise of Rockfield, Kentucky, Judy (& Mark) Page of Trinity, Florida, grandchildren, Melanie (& Will) Arms, Emily (& James) Jackson, great-grandchildren, Khiara (& Halen) Lee, Kobe (& Celeste) Alexander, Matthew Neathery, Makinna Stockton, James Weston Jackson, Elias Jackson, great-great grandchildren, Rowan Lee, Salem Lee, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m in the Memory Chapel at Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Garner and Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Pallbearers were Randy Hardin, Coty Key, Barry McCoy, Justin Wright, David Brown, Tyler Amox, and Jay Wright. Burial was in the Perkins Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
