Golf: LWU 1st and 2nd at Mid-South Fall Preview

Bowling Green, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team took home the Mid-South Fall Golf Preview Championship on Tuesday at Bowling Green Country Club, and the Lindsey Wilson women's golf team posted a runner-up finish.

The Blue Raider men finished with a 6-over-par 870 (290-286-294) for the tournament, which was on the 6,729-yard par 72 course. Lindsey Wilson finished eight shots ahead of Cumberlands (KY).

The Blue Raider women carded a 79-over-par 943 (318-320-305) on the par-72, 5,869-yard course and finished six shots behind Cumberlands. Lindsey Wilson's 305 in the third round was a tournament low. The women's team finished the tournament with the second-most birdies (15) and the second-most pars with 150.

The Blue Raiders now break for the winter before resuming their season in the spring.
