Volleyball: Indians fight to 5th set against Taylor Co.

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the Adair County Lady Indians fell in 5 sets in the 20th District Tournament, 3-2, to the Taylor County Lady Cardinals.

Taylor County took the first set 25-13, as Adair County struggled to get their feet under them early. The Indians came back to win the second set 25-20. Taylor County would then grab the third set 25-22, before the Lady Tribe would come back and win the fourth, 25-19. This set up a competitive and chaotic fifth set that saw Adair County fall 15-13. The Lady Indians took a hard hit as Sophomore Addie Bowman left the game in the third set with an injury.

Despite a tough night in Campbellsville, the season is not yet over. The Lady Indians will move on to the 5th Region Tournament for the first time ever, and continue their historic season.
