Football: Indians face Wildcats at Edmonson Co

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

The Adair County Indians Football Team returns to action on Friday, October 17, 2025, as they go on the road against the Edmonson County Wildcats (2-6). The Indians should be well-rested coming off the bye week. They have not played a game since their October 3 meeting with Hart County.

However, the same can be said about Edmonson County, as their last game was an October 3rd 35-12 loss to LaRue County. In their last game, the Wildcats struggled to stop the run, giving up 290 rushing yards to the Hawks of LaRue County. In that same game, Edmonson County saw most of their offensive production come from the ground game, with 152 total rushing yards. They were led by senior Colten White, with 10 carries for 52 yards.

The Indians will need to be on the lookout for White on the field on Friday. If you are available, make the trip and cheer them on! Kickoff is scheduled for 7pmCT on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Edmonson County High School, 220 Wildcat Way, Brownsville, KY.
