Seed and Plant Swap at Trabue-Russell House on Oct 22

From Mary Anne Loy

Gardeners, bring your "extra" seeds and plants to the Trabue-Russell House from 3pmCT to 5pmCT on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Tables will be set up on the back lawn for sharing and swapping.

Even if you have nothing to share, come and choose from others' abundance. There is always PLENTY for sharing. Some of the seeds and plants that will be available are:
  • French Marigolds (good for protection against mosquitoes)
  • Orange Cosmos (a favorite of butterflies and birds)
  • Catmint (attracts bees and butterflies, and a prolific grower)
  • Solomon's Seal (a native for the shade)
  • Oregano (for your favorite Italian sauces dishes)
The historic Trabue-Russell House is located at 201 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY. Join us, rain or shine. This FREE event is sponsored by the Trabue-Russell House and Garden Board of Volunteers.
