Football: Indians fall to Hawks, face Raiders on Friday By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer On Friday, September 26, 2025, the Adair County Indians football team fell on the road to the LaRue County Hawks 25-20. The Tribe did have a balanced offense on the night with 132 rushing yards and 149 passing yards on the game. The Tribe will be back in action at 7pmCT this Friday, October 3, 2025, as they travel to take on the Hart County Raiders (4-2) at Hart County High School, 1014 S Dixie Hwy, Munfordville, KY. The team's leading passer against Larue County was junior Brody Karnes, who went 6 for 11 for 79 yards and an interception. Junior Madden Moye was the only other Indian to attempt a pass on the evening, going 4 for 7 for 70 yards. Senior Dawson Gilbert led the team in receiving with six catches for 97 yards, followed by sophomore Callum Darnell, who had one catch for 20 yards, and junior Samuel Feese, who had two catches for nine yards. Gilbert, Darnell and Feese made up all of the pass catches for the Indians on the night. Darnell also led the team in rushing, with 15 rushes for 58 yards and a touchdown. He was followed by senior Ryder Rodgers, who had 13 carries for 53 yards and two touchdowns. On Special Teams, junior Matthew MeJean went two for two on PATs on the night. On defense, the team was led in tackles by junior Tristan Mullins with 14, followed by Ryder Rodgers with nine.
