Danny K. Bottoms, 76, Russell Springs, KY (1949-2025) Danny Kay Bottoms of Russell Springs passed away on September 20, 2025 at his residence. He was 76 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens in Campbellsville, KY. Visitation is requested from 9amCT until 11amCT on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home. He was born on January 28, 1949 to the late Chester and Della Moss Bottoms. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Corbin Bottoms, one brother, Larry Bottoms, a step-daughter, Beverly, and two great-nephews, Jeff Little and Sean Bottoms. Danny began his career with Kentucky Department of Corrections as an officer at the Kentucky State Reformatory. He promoted through the ranks and retired as a Captain at Northpoint Training Center. He was a member of Knifley Christian Church. Survivors include:
