New welcome signs going up around Columbia From Trey Stephens City of Columbia | Assistant to the Mayor The City of Columbia is placing new "Welcome to Columbia" signs on roadways that enter the city, and updating other signs to include Lindsey Wilson University. Two new signs can be seen on Hwy East 80 and Jamestown Street. Several other signs will be updated with a "Home of Lindsey Wilson University" placard above the sign. These new signs are one of many projects that go on to continually beautify Columbia.
