43rd Annual Pumpkin Festival Oct 4 in Edmonton

The 43rd Annual Pumpkin Festival will be held on the Square in Edmonton on Saturday, October 4, 2025, beginning at 7amCT with registration for the Pumpkin Festival 5K Run/Walk. The race will begin at the Metcalfe County Historic Jail, 201 East Stockton St., Edmonton, KY.

Other highlights include the Annual Pumpkin Festival Car Show in Memory of Willard Odle, the 4-H Costume Contest, a bike and costume parade, mustache and beard contest, Youth Idol, dance performances, live music, an outhouse race, plus vendor booths and more.   • 11amCT - Best Beard and Mustache Contest (stage site)
  • 11:30amCT - Metcalfe Adult Idol 2025, Emma Petranek and Haley Kelsay in concert
  • NoonCT - Metcalfe Youth Idol 2025, Tymber Garrett and Caycee Harris in concert
  • 12:30pmCT - Showstoppers and Dance Team performances
  • 1:00pmCT - Music for the afternoon Hornets' Nest Pickers and Little David and Bad Country
  • 3:30pmCT - Outhouse Race
