Volleyball: ACHS 15-3 heading in to State Tournament play

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

The Adair County Indians Volleyball team currently sits at 15-3 coming off a 1-3 loss to Central Hardin on the road. The team won the Section 4 last week over Taylor County in the finals after beating Marion County. The team will next face the Section 7 champions Corbin Lady Redhounds (14-5) who won their sectional over Whitley County in the finals.

This year marks the first time in Adair County Volleyball program history that the team will play in the 2A State Championship. The Lady Indians take the court to face Corbin at 1:30pmCT on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Brescia College, 717 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY. Tickets are $12, and can be purchased through eventlink.com.

Adair County Schools has announced that they will be closed Friday in support of the team, and school officials are encouraging all students, staff, families, and community members to make the trip to Owensboro and support the team. Roll, tribe!
