LWU Cycling to compete at Collegiate Track National Championships The Lindsey Wilson cycling team is set to compete at the USA Cycling Collegiate Track National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the Indy Cycloplex Thursday-Sunday. Emma Balding, Lilly Campbell, Ricky Carter, Caitlyn Farmer, Floriencia Haupt, Zoe March, Ferran Merce, and Angelo Petris will be competing for the Blue Raiders across multiple events at the Championships. "We are bringing a group of young track talent to nationals this year," Lindsey Wilson cycling coach Josh Patton said. "We have a handful of newer track racers that show a lot of promise, and we are excited to see what the future holds for them in their track racing career. With limited collegiate track racing available due to nationals being so early in the semester, it's always exciting to see them get onto the track and mix things up with fellow collegiate racers." "Angelo and Ferran come from Europe with extensive track racing experience," Patton added. Emma is local to Indianapolis and has made more laps on this track than anyone can count, and a home national is exciting for her and will be a special moment in her collegiate career. Zoe, Flo, Caitlyn, Ricky, and Lilly are all BMX cross-over athletes who specialize in high-power events and will see them make efforts in the sprint tournament and the 1k." The USA Cycling Collegiate Track National Championships get underway Thursday in Indianapolis, IN. This story was posted on 2025-09-10 20:18:50
