Football: ACHS travels to Casey County on Friday

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

The Adair County Indians Football team will return to the field Friday for a road game against the Casey County Rebels (0-2). Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30pmCT on September 5, 2025, at Casey County High School, 1841 E State Hwy 70, Liberty, KY. Tickets are $7, and available at gofan.co.

The Indians come off a one point loss last week to the Metcalfe County Hornets, while the Rebels come off a 48-0 loss to Bourbon County. Both teams will undoubtably be hungry for their first win of the season, and the Indians will be looking to avenge their last matchup against Casey County, where the Tribe fell 22-21.

The Rebels have struggled this season on pass coverage, giving up 535 passing yards through just two games thus far. Casey County has also struggled turning the ball over, throwing five interceptions already this season through just two games.

The Tribe will look to take advantage of the Rebels in these two categories as they seek to get their first win in Liberty since 2021. Make the trip and come cheer on your Indians tonight at Casey County!
