By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

Adair County (3-0) has not dropped a single set so far this season, winning each of their three matchups in straight sets, but their record will be put to the test on the road the rest of this week.

The Lady Indians posted a total of 37 kills from the match, 13 of which came from Junior Olivia Mantooth, who led the team. She was followed by Senior Addison Spoon and Sophomore Josie Blair with six kills each.

The team posted 11 total blocks against the Lakers, and were led in blocks by Sophomore Addie Bowman with four. Senior Setter Anslie Spoon led the team in assists with 29 of the 36 posted. Libero Senior Kinzlee Akin led the team in digs with 19, followed by Addison Spoon with 13. Spoon also led the squad in aces, posting three of the team's eight.

The Lady Indians face 20th district rival Taylor County (2-1) at 6pmCT today, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, and head back to Campbellsville (0-6) to face the Lady Eagles at 7pmCT on Thursday, August 28, 2025. After those two district matchups, the team will head to Owensboro over the weekend for the Apollo "Summer Slam Down" Tournament.
