Nancy E. Reeves, 74, Columbia, KY (1951-2025)

Nancy Elizabeth (Ballou) Reeves of Columbia died on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Bluegrass Way in Campbellsville. She was 74 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 2pmCT on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Terry Shelley and Bro. Randy Young officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 4pmCT on Sunday.


She was born June 3, 1951, in Adair County, to the late Estel Eugene and Mary Hunter Ballou. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-son, James Shannon Reeves and a sister, Loreta Adams.

Nancy was a member of Shiloh Christian Church, a former merchant, owning The Pink Flamingo, she worked at Bank of Columbia for 25 years, First National Bank for five years and enjoyed shopping and her family.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband - James Louis Reeves of Columbia
  • Two daughters and sons-in-law - Julie and Greg Burton, Jill and Chris Wilson all of Columbia
  • Two brothers - Dr. Sherman Ballou (Sharon) of Cave City and John Ballou (Nancy) of Columbia
  • Two sisters - Juanita Pendygraft (Neil) of Glasgow and Marla Shelley (J.M.) of Columbia
  • Five grandchildren - Dr. Jacob Burton (Malory), Carli Burton (Nicole), Elliot Burton (Hailey), Simon Wilson and Gracie Wilson
  • Five great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
