Almarine Morgan, 93, Columbia, KY (1932-2025) Almarine (Loy) Morgan passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, at the age of 93. Her strength, light and love will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Pastor Cary Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Loy Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pmCT to 8pmCT on Friday, August 1, 2025, and will continue Saturday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Known for her kind heart, quiet strength, and deep faith, Almarine touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted member of Pierces Chapel. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, always offering love, encouragement, and warmth to those around her. She enjoyed crocheting, word searches - which arguably kept her so sharp, and spending time with her family. Her legacy will live on through her family and the many lives she impacted. She is survived by her son: Timothy Wilson (Teresa) and daughter: Pamela Spoon, 6 Grandchildren: Kristy Townsend, Kelly Ramos (Rob), Kenny Zemanski, Caitlin Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Allison Van Kley (Michael), eleven Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild and and two sisters Flora Claywell and Emily Gravitt. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 19 years, George Morgan, her parents: Gilliam and Alice (Bragg) Loy, 2 brothers: Young Loy & Martin Russell Loy; and 3 sisters: Ruth (Loy) Moore, Earline (Loy) Hill and Virginia Ann (Loy) Nix.
